The game is pretty generous at giving you ammo so do not be scared to use it. I love the visuals of Air Strike 2 Gulf Thunder. They have a kind of futuristic vibe to them which I really dig.

Yet, there is some cool style and charm here and the visual style that they went for back in , actually holds up very well. The soundtrack when you fire up the game is freaking badass and fits the action perfectly. The problem is, you hear the same song over and over again so it can get a tad old. Thankfully, you are so focused on the action, you kind of zone it out. I know that this is a game that looks like it is very simple, but that is kind of the point. This is meant to be like those old vertical shooters we loved in the arcades back in the 80s and 90s and in that regard, Air Strike 2 Gulf Thunder succeeds in what it was trying to do.
